🪬 is the hamsa, a downward-facing open palm with an eye at its centre, used as a symbol of protection against the evil eye. In messages it appears as a blessing or a shield over good news — "got the results, all clear 🪬" — and in bios as a marker of heritage or spiritual practice. The symbol is shared across North Africa and the Middle East, known as the Hand of Fatima in Muslim tradition and the Hand of Miriam in Jewish tradition, and it appears on doorways, jewellery and car mirrors far more than in text.
