You do not need an account to use EmojiSelector, and we never ask you for personal details such as your name, email address or payment information. We do, however, use third-party services to measure and sustain the site, and those services collect some data from your browser under their own policies. Below is exactly what is and is not collected.

What we collect directly

• No accounts, no forms, no personal data records. Emojis you copy stay on your device and are never sent to our servers.
• Your language and theme preference and your game high score are stored only in your browser's localStorage; they are never transmitted to us and are deleted when you clear browser data.

Third-party services

• Google Analytics 4: measures which pages are visited, which emojis get copied and on-site searches, in aggregate (not person-level) form. It uses cookies, and technical data such as your IP address is processed by Google.
• Google AdSense (when enabled): uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads. Google and its partners may use your visits to this and other sites to serve interest-based advertising. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings.
• Emoji and article images load from content networks such as jsDelivr and Unsplash; those requests expose your IP address to the respective provider.

Your rights

Under GDPR and Turkish KVKK you may delete or block cookies at any time; the site keeps working without them. For data processed by Google, refer to Google's privacy policy; for anything concerning us, reach us via the contact page.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

If this policy changes, the date above is updated. Material changes will be noted on this page.
